功能活瘀血, 止痛﹐經痛﹐無月經﹐可生新血,涼血,可觸知的腫瘤﹐心痛﹐熱庳﹐煩燥不安﹐脾腫﹐消耗系統疼痛。

保肝作用:抗肝纖維化;提高供體肝臟的保存效果;消除肝細胞氧自由基;減輕肝臟冷熱缺血再灌注 後的損害;減輕肝細胞脂肪變性和壞死;促進殘肝再生;防治肝癌轉移復發;對肝硬化門靜脈高壓血流動力學有影響.[19]

(1) tanshinone I, cryptotanshinone[1,2], hydroxytanshinone, methyltanshinonate[3,4], methylene tanshiquinone[5], przewatanshinquinone A),przewatanshinquinone B [6], miltirone[7], dihydrotanshinone I [8], tanshinol A, tanshinol B, tanshinol C, 3-α-hydroxy tanshinone II^, nortanshinone [9], 1, 2, 15, 16-tetrahydrotanshiquinone [10].

Modern Research现代研究：
Significantly increase in coronary blood flow due to reduction of vascular resistance.
可增加冠状動脉流量，因為丹参能减低血管阻力。
Cautions禁忌：
Administration of tinctures of this herb can lead to severe itching, stomachache, or reduced appetite.
While taking dan shen do not use milk or soy product because milk or soy product can lower the effective of dan shen. Do not use with blood thinning drugs, like warfarin, heparin etc.
服用丹参酒浸剤可能導致激烈的發癢，肚痛，食慾减退。
用丹参時，不要用奶或豆類制品以免降低療效。 不可與抗凝血药物通用。
